GATES – Linwood Earl Pearce, 81, of Gates, a U.S. Army veteran in the Vietnam War, died Thursday, June 27, 2019 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, who is handling the arrangements. Burial, with full military honors, will follow at 2 p.m. in the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, VA.
