AHOSKIE, NC – Macie Harrell Dunlow, age 71, passed away on March 23, 2019 at the Creekside Care & Rehabilitation of Ahoskie, NC.

Mrs. Dunlow was born on February 18, 1948 to Alvin Lee and Mildred Phelps Harrell in Ahoskie, NC. Macie worked as a seamstress for several different manufacturers until her health declined.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Macie cherished her family, especially her grandchildren, they were the apples of her eyes. She enjoyed her flowers and collecting angels. Macie will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Harrell Williams.

Macie is survived by her husband, of 50+ years, Jimmy of the home; daughter, Denise Dunlow Todd and husband Keith; son, James Dunlow and wife Julie; two grandsons, Brandon Todd and Hunter Dunlow; and granddaughter, Lauren Dunlow, all of Windsor, NC; along with numerous extended family and friends.

A celebration of life funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service, Ahoskie, NC, with Rev. Dr. Jesse Croom and Rev. Raleigh Johnson officiating.
