COLERAIN, NC – Roger Dail Jones, age 68, passed away on May 3, 2018 at his home.

Mr. Jones was born on September 26, 1949 to the late Henry Clifton and Mabel Morgan Jones in Ahoskie, NC. He was a retired farmer and an avid deer hunter. Roger worked as the greens keeper at Cashie Golf and Country Club in Windsor. He truly loved golf and the game of baseball. A loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather, Roger will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Roger is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, of the home; his son, Roger D. “RD” Jones II and wife Sarah; grandson, Landon Henry Jones; and granddaughter, Ellison Gray Jones, all of Humble, TX; brother, Edmond Jones and wife Marilyn of Alabama; and a sister, Kay Early and husband Eugene of Apex, NC, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will have a celebration of life gathering on Monday, May 7, 2018, from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service, Ahoskie, NC.
