MURFREESBORO – Rev. James Hampton, 91, of Murfreesboro, a native of Northampton County, died Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Creekside Care and Rehabilitation Center, Ahoskie. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at First Baptist Murfreesboro. Burial will be in the New Life Ministry Church Cemetery, Ahoskie. Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, is handling the arrangements.
