AHOSKIE, NC – Roberts Harrell “Robbie” Jernigan, III, age 66 ,passed away on April 18, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Jernigan was born in Raleigh, NC, on September 28, 1950, a son of the late Linda Williams and Roberts Harrell Jernigan, Jr. Robbie was a kind and caring man, who loved animals and helping other people. Many friends remember the kind deeds Robbie did for them.

Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Elizabeth Jernigan Andrews of Greensboro, NC; his brother, Clawson Williams Jernigan and wife, Dawn of Raleigh, NC; three nephews, Kenan Rand Jernigan, Robert Gray Jernigan, and Richard Lewis Andrews Jr., and wife, Austin; and two nieces, Elizabeth Andrews Preyer and husband, Britt, and Margaret Marshall Andrews Marshall and husband, Jason.

A graveside celebration of life memorial service will be held on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Ahoskie Cemetery, Ahoskie, NC, with Rev. Jeff Douglas, officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service in St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church parish hall.
