Pamela F. Hodges

COMO, NC – Pamela Fagan Hodges, age 66, passed away on March 24, 2017 at the Gates House Assisted Living of Gatesville, NC.

Mrs. Hodges was born in Martin County, NC on April 16, 1950, a daughter of the late Julian Hosea and Neda Johnson Fagan. Pamela was a graduate of Hardbarger Business College, Chowan College, and attended NC State University. She worked as an EMT with the Como Rescue Squad for over 19 years. Pamela was one who enjoyed life, she loved spending time on the farm where she was raised in Martin County. She loved to fish, and loved spending time with her great nieces and nephews, and especially her grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Pamela was preceded in death by a sister, Penny Fagan.

Left to cherish her memory is her devoted husband, Stephen Wayne Hodges; her daughter, Hannah H. Johnson and husband, Bryan of Margaretsville, NC; her son, Timothy Hodges and wife, Christy of Como, NC; two brothers, Joe Fagan and Jerry Fagan of Jamesville, NC; two granddaughters, Sara Hodges, and Mia Johnson; and three grandsons, Zach Hodges, Reid Johnson, and Blake Johnson.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Meherrin Baptist Church, Murfreesboro, NC, with Rev. John Porter officiating. The family will receive friends in the church sanctuary immediately following the service and other times at the home.
