PORTSMOUTH, VA – John Richard Johnson Jr. of Portsmouth, VA, a native of Ahoskie and a US Marine veteran of World War II and the Korean War, died March 14, 2017. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 21, 2017 in the Chapel of Fisher Funeral Home, Portsmouth, VA, who handled the arrangements. Burial, with military honors, followed in the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, VA.
