Hill – Vaughan exchange vows

MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica – Austin Hill and Juan Vaughan, II were married December 8, 2016 at 4:00 pm at Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort and Spa in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The Reverend Glenroy Clarke officiated the ceremony from a gazebo overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

The bride is the daughter of Patrick Hill of Lewiston, NC and Jennifer Keys Hill of Ahoskie, NC. The bridegroom is the son of retired Hertford County Sheriff & Mrs. Juan Vaughan, Sr. of Murfreesboro, NC.

The bride wore a romantic trumpet wedding gown with a gorgeous beaded Venice lace bodice, scalloped lace tank sleeves, v-neckline, and an alluring button back detail. She carried a soft pink bouquet of roses.

The couple honeymooned in Montego Bay. Upon their return, approximately 200 friends and family members celebrated with them on December 30, 2016 at a wedding reception held at Quinton’s Restaurant & Lounge in downtown Ahoskie.

The bride earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a graduate degree in School Psychology from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. She is currently employed as the district School Psychologist for Northampton County Public Schools.

The groom earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University in Greensboro, NC and a graduate degree in Mathematics from Elizabeth City State University. He is employed at Roanoke-Chowan Community College in Ahoskie, NC as a Mathematics Instructor.

The couple resides in Conway, NC.
