Felbert G. Lamb

MURFREESBORO, NC – Felbert Gill Lamb, 80, longtime resident of Murfreesboro, and more recently of Elizabeth City, died Tuesday, January 17, 2017 in Elizabeth City Health and Rehabilitation.
Mr. Lamb was born in Camden County on May 8, 1936, and was the son of the late Jacob Judson and Grace Lorraine Munden Lamb. A retired x-ray technician, he was a member of Sawyer’s Creek Baptist Church in Camden.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Milford J. Lamb.
Surviving are his two sisters, Barbara L. Cherry and Murlene L. Williams, both of Elizabeth City; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Graveside services will be held Friday, January 20 at 11:00 a.m. in West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Elizabeth City.
Friends may join the family at the home of his sister, Murlene Williams, 1107 W. Main Street, Elizabeth City.
Miller & Van Essendelft, Funeral and Cremation Providers, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, is assisting the family with arrangements.
