AHOSKIE, NC – Bailey Farmer Edwards, age 36, passed away, after her courageous battle with cancer on October 24, 2016 at the UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC, with her family by her side.

Bailey was born on December 22, 1979 to Kenny and Shelby Heath Farmer in Ahoskie, NC. She was a 1998′ graduate of Hertford County High School. Bailey married her high school sweetheart and had two amazing children. She was the type of person that would light up any room with her infectious smile and her positive outlook on life. Bailey was a loving wife, mother, daughter, aunt, sister and friend to so many. Bailey enjoyed watching her boys play sports. Bailey was loved by everyone and will be deeply missed by all. “BeBaileyBrave”

Left to cherish Bailey’s memory is her husband, Timmy, and two sons, Dylan and Preston Edwards, all of the home; her parents, Kenny and Shelby Farmer; one sister, Wendy Dunlow; mother-in-law, Vickie Edwards; father-in-law; Tim Edwards; grandmother, Nell Heath; and brother-in-law, Matt Edwards, all of Ahoskie; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, niece, cousins, especially Steven Askew, that she loved very much, and all the many friends that loved her dearly.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 28, 2016, from 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service, Ahoskie, NC and friends are welcome to visit at the home at any time.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016, at 11:00 am at the Higher Ground Pentecostal Holiness Church, Ahoskie, NC, with Rev. Ray Faircloth, Jr. officiating.
