COMO – James Elbert Gatling, age 98, of Como died Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving daughters, Shirley Rogers, Mabley Gatling, Olivia Worthington, Elsie Parker, Eva Newman, and Dorothy Sneed.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 10, 2016 at Mill Neck Baptist Church, Como, NC.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mill Neck Baptist Church 150th anniversary.

Services of comfort are entrusted to Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, North Carolina.
