ROANOKE RAPIDS – Viola McPhail Belfield, 71, of Roanoke Rapids died Friday, April 8, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 15, 2016 at Gaston Missionary Baptist Church, Gaston. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. H.D. Pope Funeral Home, Roanoke Rapids, is handling the arrangements.
