Wanted: NCSO seeks two on the run

JACKSON – Two local men are listed at the top of Northampton’s ‘Most Wanted’ list.

Northampton Sheriff’s Captain M.D. DeLoatch Sr. is asking the public’s help in locating JaQuan Deloatch, 24, of Conway, and Lashawn Moore, 24, of Woodland.

Captain DeLoatch said JaQuan Deloatch is wanted for a break-in on July 26, 2015 in the Woodland area as well as several more recently reported crimes.

The Captain said the suspect tends to frequent the Woodland and Potecasi areas, reportedly stealing TVs, guns and other items of value.

Warrants are on file for his arrest on the July charges of felony breaking and entering and felony larceny as well as the other charges while he has been on the run.

Meanwhile, the sheriff’s office continues to seek Moore, who has warrants on file since the “Operation Take as Directed” round-up in 2014.

Moore stands charged with conspiracy to sell or deliver schedule II, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a controlled substance and sell and deliver a controlled substance.

He is known to frequent areas of Bertie and Northampton counties.
