HARRELLSVILLE, NC – Mrs. Nellie Jones Holloman, age 86, of Harrellsville, passed away on December 12, 2015 at the Vidant Roanoke Chowan Hospital of Ahoskie, NC.

Mrs. Holloman was born on February 12, 1929 to Simuel Thomas and Sallie Pearce Jones in Hertford County, NC. Nellie was the hard working wife of a farmer and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed gardening and flowers. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Milton Daniel Holloman; her sister, Ida Jones Harmon; and brothers, Raleigh and Albert Jones.

Nellie is survived by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Monday, December 14, 2015 at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service, Ahoskie, NC.

A celebration of life graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Harrellsville Cemetery in Harrellsville, NC, with Rev. Joe Futrell, officiating.
