AHOSKIE – Mrs. Gladys Howard Rawls, age 79 of Ahoskie, NC, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Creekside Care and Rehabilation.

Mrs. Rawls was born December 20, 1935 in Bertie County, NC, the daughter of the late Ernest Howard and Edna Dunn Howard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dan McCall Rawls Sr.

She is survived by her daughters, Jonie R. Sanderford of Clayton, NC and Lori R. Heath of Greenville, NC; her sons, Tony Rawls of Colerain, NC, Dan McCall Rawls Jr. of Ahoskie, NC and Rusty Rawls of Norfolk, VA; three sisters, Jane Lawrence of Suffolk, VA, Susan Simpson of Seabring, Florida and Vickie Carr of Suffolk, VA; and ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A private service will be held at a later date.
