JACKSON – The Northampton County Sheriff’s Office reported Monday that Kim Stephenson, 44, of Severn has been found safe and sound in Savannah, GA.

Northampton Sheriff’s Captain M.D. DeLoatch Sr. said Stephenson was reported missing Nov. 23 after leaving by car from her home in Severn on Nov. 18. She was spotted in Franklin, VA on Nov. 19 and in Savannah Nov. 20.

Sheriff Jack Smith said last week that was confident she would be located with the assistance of the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department.

Capt. DeLoatch said since Stephenson has been found safe and sound, the Sheriff’s Department’s role in the case has now ended.
