AHOSKIE – Christopher Scott Wynn, age 34, of Ahoskie, passed away on September 18, 2015 at his residence.

Scott was born on December 9, 1980 to William Burnice and Mary Baggett Wynn in Frankiln, VA. He attended AhoskieHigh School and then earned his associates degree in business. Scott was manager of Ruby Tuesday’s Restaurant in Elizabeth City, NC and also Ruby Tuesday’s Restaurant of Suffolk, VA prior to his illness. Even though Scott had juvenile diabetes at a very early age and later battled cancer for the past two and half years of his life, he always wore a smile and lived life to the fullest. Scott truly loved all of his many friends and enjoyed spending time with them.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, William B. Wynn, Sr.; his paternal grandmother, Bessie Eure Wynn; and his maternal grandfather, Herman Ray Baggett.

Along with his parents, left to cherish Scott’s memory is his maternal grandmother, Mary Baggett of Courtland, VA; three uncles, three aunts, six cousins, and a host of special friends.

Scott’s parents would like to especially thank Vidant Health Center of Ahoskie, NC and Greenville, NC for their care they gave Scott over the last few years. Also a special thanks to Duke Cancer Center in Durham, NC. The family will have a memorial service to celebrate Scott’s life at a later date.
