CONWAY – Mrs. Faye Draper Drake, age 86, of Conway, NC, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Drake was born August 23, 1928 in Northampton County, NC.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edmund W. Drake, and her son, Edmund Wallace “Eddie” Drake Jr.

Mrs. Drake was a lifelong member of Creeksville Baptist Church where had she had served as Sunday School teacher for over fifty years for the Ruth Sunday School Class.

She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Drake Belch and her husband Mike of Conway, NC and Connie Drake Guess and her husband Bobby of Hickory, NC. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Brandon Belch, Nelia Guess and Carl Guess.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Creeksville Baptist Church with Dr. H. Dennis Draper Jr. and Rev. Andy Sloan officiating. Burial will follow at Creeksville Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Creeksville Baptist Church, Thursday, beginning at 1:00 p.m. prior to services.
