JACKSON – The Northampton County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Lashawn Moore, 24, of Woodland.

Warrants are on file for Moore’s arrest in connection with Operation “Take as Directed” – a multi-agency effort that arrested more than 20 individuals combined from Northampton, Bertie, Gates and Hertford counties on June 9. The three-month long undercover investigation focused on the illegal sale of prescription drugs in the four-county Roanoke-Chowan area.

Moore has been charged with conspiracy to sell or deliver Schedule II of a controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a controlled substance, and sell and deliver a controlled substance.
