BUFFALO GAP, TX – Kenneth “Kenny” Ray Davis, age 58, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at St. Mary-Corwin Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado.

Kenny was born August 9, 1956 in Bertie County, North Carolina, the son of the late classy father Rupert Earl Davis and his loving mother, Nancy Jane Johnson Davis. He was also preceded in death by his big brother, Larry Wayne Davis.

Kenny did a great job as a husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to those fortunate enough to have known him. We will always remember his smile and his infectious laugh and love. Kenny Ray was a hard worker and wore many hats over the years. The one most important hat of those he wore was that of a devoted husband and loving father. His family was the most important thing to him and he was always willing to make sacrifices to provide and protect them. To his two little girls, Dad was their hero. He taught his children how to be tough and raised them to be strong and proud. Kenny and his wife Sandra often enjoyed taking to the road, be it by motorcycle, car or RV. Being raised by a mechanic Kenny Ray would often spend his free time tinkering, rebuilding and restoring vehicles of many shapes and sizes.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, his best friend and his love of 35 years, Sandra Dee Davis of Buffalo Gap, TX; his two daughters, Shasta McClure of Tuscola, TX and Brooke Valenzuela of Roseville, CA; his two brothers, Earl Davis of the Philippines, and Jerry H. Davis of Windsor, NC; his sister, Judy Conner of Windsor, NC; his five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
