GATES – Lonnie Lee Jernigan, 82, of US 13 North, Gates, a native of Northampton County and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, died Friday, April 3, 2015 in Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk, VA. Graveside services were held on Monday, April 6, 2015 in the Jernigan Family Cemetery, Gates. Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, handled the arrangements.
