LEWISTON WOODVILLE – Linda Harrington Norcross, 65, of Lewiston Woodville passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. After spending time in and out of the hospital over the last few months, Linda is now at rest in her heavenly home.

Linda, who is originally from Lewiston, traveled the world and later returned home. Linda is a member of the First Baptist Church of Lewiston where she held positions of Deaconess and Sunday School teacher. Also, Linda was a faithful servant of her community.

Linda is survived by her son, Chuck Norcross of Columbia City, Indiana; and daughter-in-law, Carol Norcross and grandson Donavan, both of Ahoskie. Surviving sisters are Denise Hoggard of Elm Grove, and Bernice Cooper of Lewiston; and sister-in-law Barbara Harrington of Windsor. She is preceded in death by her husband, Chuck Norcross; parents, John C. “Jake” and Doris Delbridge Harrington; and brother, Tommy Harrington.

Visitation with the family will be held at First Baptist Church of Lewiston at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 21 with a memorial service following at 2 p.m. The service will be officiated by Pastor Lloyd Dunlow of First Baptist Church of Lewiston, and the Rev. Preston Jernigan of Elm Grove Baptist Church.

Linda will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her and the blessings she bestowed on each of our lives through her service to her Savior.

Monetary contributions in her memory will be accepted at First Baptist Church of Lewiston or the American Cancer Society.
