GATES – William Riddick, Sr., a native of Gates County, died Monday, February 2, 2015 at Sentara Albemarle Hospital, Elizabeth City. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 9, 2015 at New Middle Swamp Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Hunter’s Funeral Home, Gates, is handling the arrangements.
