WOODLAND – Reaphus Wayne Rawls, age 73 of Woodland, passed away on January 17, 2015 at the Creekside Care & Rehabilitation Center of Ahoskie, NC.

Mr. Rawls was born on August 22, 1941 to James and Elia Hall Rawls in Aulander, NC. Wayne worked as a truck driver, retiring from Carolina Aluminum.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Emily Bryant Rawls.

Wayne is survived by three brothers, Ray Rawls and his wife, Evelyn, of Aulander, NC, David Rawls and his wife, Kay, of Windsor, VA, and James Rawls and his wife, Jean, of Greensboro, NC; a sister, Dianne Rawls Narron of Kitty Hawk, NC; and many nieces and nephews .

A private family graveside service was held on Monday, January 19, 2015 at the Aulander Cemetery.
