TYNER – Elsie Eason Ward, 98, of  Virginia Road, Tyner, a native of Gates County, died Tuesday, January 13, 2015 in Chowan River Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Edenton. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Warwick Baptist Church.  A private burial will follow in the church cemetery. Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, Edenton, is handling the arrangements.
