COLERAIN – Florence Daniels Lassiter, 75, of 112 Thomas Lane, Colerain, died Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at her home.

She was born in Halifax County on July 3, 1939 to the late Lloyd and Annie Bradshaw Daniels and was predeceased by her husband, Ted M. Lassiter, and son, Ted Michael Lassiter, Jr.

Florence was a member of Cashie Baptist Church and retired from the Bertie County School Bus system with 34 years of service.

Memorial services will be held Saturday January 3, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Cashie Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Lassiter Price of Colerain; grandchildren, Jennipher Dickens Jones, Cassidy Lassiter, and Greyson Lassiter; great grandchild, Christopher Dickens; and daughter-in-law Sue Lassiter Davidson of Parkesburg, WV.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Ted M. Lassiter, Sr. Scholarship Fund, 112 Thomas Lane, Colerain, NC27924.
