GASTON – Elaine High Shearin, 71, of Gaston died Friday, December 26, 2014 at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Cool Spring Missionary Baptist Church, Gaston. Burial will follow in the High Family Cemetery, Gaston. Faison’s Funeral Home, Seaboard, is handling the arrangements.
