TUNIS – Edward Wayne Legault, age 59, of Tunis passed away on December 27, 2014 at his residence.

He was born on August 27, 1955 to John W. and Rose Spinale Legault in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Edward worked as a truck driver for over twenty years. He loved spending time on the Chowan River boating with his family and friends. Edward was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose for a number of years. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his loving wife.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two siblings, Roger and Michelle Legault.

Edward is survived by his loving wife, Joy; nine siblings, Vivian and her husband Mark Yeargreau of New Hampshire, Jay Legault of Norfolk, VA, Frances Doucette of New Hampshire, Rose and her husband James Holden of New Hampshire, Arthur and his wife Lisa Legault of Massachusetts, Corinna Parker of Maine, Eugene Legault of Massachusetts, Mary and her husband Richard Ogiba of Massachusetts, and David Hatch of Massachusetts, along with several nieces and nephews, as well as, great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015, at 11:00 am at the Closer Walk Ministry Church in Tunis, NC with Pastor Mike Blowe officiating. The family will receive friends in the church following the service.
