COLERAIN – Ruth Pierce Williford, 79, of Lazy Hill Road, Colerain, died Thursday December 25, 2014 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

She was born November 11, 1935 in Bertie County to the late Deford and Nettie Harrell Pierce and was predeceased by her husband, Judge Robert Earl Williford.  Ruth was a member of Perrytown Assembly of God and retied as a Para Legal with the Pritchett, Cooke & Burch Law Firm.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Perrytown Assembly of God by the Rev. David Baker and the Rev. Randy Pierce.  A private burial will follow in HoggardMemorialCemetery in Lewiston.

Survivors include her sisters, Neil Pierce Little and husband Ronnie of Merry Hill, Dianne Pierce of Greenville, and Annette Pierce Swearingen and husband Mark of Roper; nieces, Kim White, and Melanie Belevins and husband Dave; and great niece, Kaitlyn Belevins.
