ELIZABETH CITY – Grant W. Pierce Sr., 78, of Elizabeth City, a native of Hertford County, died Friday, October 31, 2014 at Edenton House Assisted Living. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Pleasant Plains Baptist Church, Ahoskie. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, is handling the arrangements.
