AHOSKIE – Bernice Outlaw Hardy Sessoms (Cheetah) of Ahoskie was called on to the Pearlie Gates on Saturday, Sept. 13.

Cheetah was born April 14, 1945 to the late James Selma and Susie Anna Vaughan Outlaw.

Bernice (Cheetah) was retired from Perdue Farms after 20 years of service as a Line Leader. After retiring, Cheetah spent her time enjoying her family.

Cheetah leaves to cherish her vibrant memories, one daughter, Rachel Denise; her husband, Herbert R.  Sessoms; two granddaughters, Ronica Tanae and Reneesha Donette; two great-granddaughters, Reniyah Tanae and Rhyonna Tyshae; one great-grandson, Mason Kyle of the home; one sister, Mary Ashe of Creekside; two brothers, Howard Earl (Esther) of Ahoskie, and John Albert (Bonnie) of Ahoskie; 22 nieces and nephews, and one godson, Gregory Savon Carter.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Ahoskie, with the Rev. H.H. Murrill officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Ahoskie.
