GASTON – Ruby Thacker Kirkland, 89 of Gaston, a native of Brunswick County, VA, died Friday, August 22, 2014. A graveside service was held Monday, August 25, 2014 at Crestview Memorial Cemetery, Roanoke Rapids. Massey Funeral Home, Roanoke Rapids, handled the arrangements.
