SEABOARD – Leary Stephenson “Steve” Pruden, 54, of Seaboard, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2013.  He was the son of the late Leary Pruden, Jr.

Steve was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He was owner/operator of Pruden’s Mechanical in Jackson. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was an active member of Mount Carmel Hunt Club and attended Mount Carmel Baptist Church.

He is survived by his mother, Eleanor Stephenson Pruden of Jackson; his sister, Beth Edwards and her husband, Bobby Joe, of Pendleton; his loving niece, Caroline Stephenson Edwards; and his loving nephew, Bobby Thomas Edwards, both of Pendleton; and many dear relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church officiated by the Rev. Craig Janney. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church Fellowship Hall.
