ELMWOOD PARK, NJ – Lawrence “Larry” Leitner of Elmwood Park, NJ, and formerly of Saddle Brook, NJ, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2013.

He was the beloved husband of the Margaret Leitner (nee Grumme); the loving father of Lauren Leitner of Boone, NC, Anna Phipps of Como, and Ashley Leitner of Rich Square; the dear grandfather of Corey Phipps; and the brother of Susan Chamberlain.

Larry worked for the United States Postal Service in Paterson, NJ for 35 years.

Funeral services were held on Friday, October 11, 2013 at Kugler Community Funeral Home in Saddle Brook, NJ. Funeral Mass immediately followed at the Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel in Passaic. Interment was at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
