Ashleigh Rose Strickland and Nicholas Lee Russell, both of Savannah, Georgia, announce their engagement.  Ashleigh is the daughter of Charles W. Strickland, Jr. and Kathy Whitley of Rich Square and Mr. and Mrs. Danny Johnson, Sr. of Kill Devil Hills. Nicholas is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Russell of Kinston.  An October wedding is planned at the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
