Jessica B. Brown of Ahoskie and Thomas H. Spruill II of Colerain will marry during a 2 p.m. open church ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 3 at Powellsville Baptist Church. Jessica is the daughter of Joyce and Braxton Brown of Ahoskie. Her grandparents are Robert and Marian Dilday of Colerain, John Brown Sr. and Lula Brown of Ahoskie, and the late Mary Alice Brown. She is a graduate of East Carolina University and Aarmark Distance Learning Internship. Thomas is the son of Carlette and Tommy Spruill of Colerain. He is the grandson of Elmer Spruill of Colerain and the late Joyce Spruill, and Carlton Cale of Ahoskie and Peggy Mosley of Roanoke Rapids. He is a graduate of Ashworth Community College.
