JEFFERSON, La. – Amelia Jane Tayloe lost her battle with leukemia on Monday, December 10, 2012 surrounded by her loving family.

Amelia was born on February 28, 2010 in Jefferson, Louisiana. She was diagnosed with AML Leukemia in September 2011. Over the past fourteen months, she has been treated at St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Amelia is survived by her loving parents, Matthew and Misty Tayloe; her big sisters, Danielle, and Katie Ann; and her big brother, Truxton.

We would like to express our gratitude toward St. Jude’s for the love and care they have given our family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service, officiated by Pastor Kevin Cox of New Orleans, at First Baptist Church Ahoskie, at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2012. Interment will follow at Ahoskie Town Cemetery.

Honoring Amelia as pallbearers will be Michael Welch, Matthew Welch, Aaron Carter and Jon Tayloe.
