EURE – William Leslie Umphlett, 68, of US Hwy 13 South, Eure, died Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2012 in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, who is handling the arrangements.
