Hey Hawks Fans!

The Chowan scene is starting to pick up and get crazy with all of the fall athletes returning and all the other students returning in less than a week.

Speaking of fall athletes, the USA College Sports, Inc. and the National Christian College Athletic Association announced the USA College Football NCCAA Pre-Season All-American Team.

Six fellow Hawks made the squad; they include: Jobari Coleman-Wilson, Adrian Ferns, David Fulton, Robert Holland, Ethan Reedy, and Cameron Stover.

With the help of these six standouts the CU football team should be on a rise this season, which starts at 6 p.m. September 1at the Livingstone College home field.

Let’s not forget about Fall Sports Community Night this Thursday, August 16. This is an excellent opportunity to meet the outstanding athletes of the fall as well as their coaches.

It will be a night filled with sports activities, games, mini skills clinics, and you can’t forget about the free food and giveaways!

This Wednesday, August 15, will be the second summer camp hosted by the Chowan University Softball team.

The camp is for softball players in the 9th through 12th grades. It is a one day camp that runs from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. The cost is $50 per camper, which includes lunch.

The purpose of this camp is to help build fundamental softball skills and fundamentals in a fun but structural manner.

LETS GO HAWKS!
