Ahoskie had opened the scoring by plating a trio in the top of the fourth frame.

With one out, Clay Robbins singled. He scored when Billy Nixon doubled to left-center to give Ahoskie a 1-0 advantage.

Nixon then scored when Adison Eure reached on a three-base error. Eure scored on a Brock Merritt RBI-single to give Ahoskie the 3-0 advantage.

Ahoskie managed six hits in the contest and were led by Robbins with two.

“We played well,” Post 102 skipper Dave Ellis said. “We lost to a good team. We just couldn’t get the last out in the seventh inning when we were ahead 3-1.
