TARBORO – Alice Rose Harrell, 75, died Monday, February 13, 2012.

Mrs. Harrell was born in Bertie County to the late Rupert and Audrey White Harrell.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Owen Harrell.

She is survived by two daughters, Faith S. Smith of Murfreesboro and Dawn T. Hurdle of Tarboro; a sister, Shirley Cowan of Virginia Beach, VA; and a brother, Horace Adams of Elizabeth City

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Carlisle Funeral Home of Tarboro is serving the family.
