Warren Holloman

AHOSKIE – Mr. Warren Holloman died on May 4, 2011 at Roanoke- Chowan Hospital.
He was a member of Zion Grove Baptist Church.
He was born in Hertford County where he worked as a truck driver for Ahoskie Fish and Produce Company for 40 years.
He was married to the late Virginia Harrell Holloman. This union was blessed with 11 children. One son, William Earl, preceded him in death; he was the husband of Ruth Simmons Holloman.
Surviving are six daughters, Louvonya Wiggins (Milton), Brenda Mabine, Audrey Edwards, Angela Brown, Patricia Holloman and Felecia Holloman, all of Ahoskie; four sons, Alphonso Holloman (Clarissa), Warren Holloman and Melvin Holloman, all of Ahoskie, and Willie Clay Holloman (Valencia) of Zuni, VA; three sisters, Elizabeth Outlaw of Trenton, NJ, Bernice Beverly (Winston) of Hampton, VA and Clementine Deloatch of Norfolk, VA; a sister-in-law, Velma Holloman of Maryland; 32 grandchildren; 65 great grandchildren and a host of great- great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
His funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday May 9, 2011 at Zion Grove Baptist Church, Aulander. Rev. James Mercer will be officiating. His interment will be in the church cemetery.
