Horace S. Fields, 78, of Medical Center Road, Gates, died Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Down East Nursing Home, Gatesville. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at New Middle Swamp Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Hunter’s Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling the arrangements.
