JACKSON—Who will be next?

That is the question Northampton County Sheriff Wardie Vincent says he has for drug dealers.

Vincent said his office just finished the first phase of an undercover operation to round up drug dealers within the county.

The sheriff said the operation began in early January and has resulted in more than 20 charges for six individuals that were recently arrested.

The following suspects were arrested and charged:

Michael O’Neal Eason, 37, of 402 Olive St., Woodland, was charged with two counts of maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or place for a controlled substance, one count of conspiracy to sell and deliver marijuana and two counts of selling and delivering cocaine.

Eason was arrested on July 8 and placed in the Northampton County Jail on a $50,000 secured bond.

Troy Williams, 41, of 340 Lasker Rd., Rich Square, was charged with one count of conspiracy to sell and deliver a controlled substance, one count of selling and delivering prescription pills and selling and delivering marijuana.

Williams was arrested on July 7 and placed in the Northampton County Jail on a $35,000 secured bond.

Rodney Ross Roscoe, 34, of 706 Indian Woods Road, Lewiston, was charged with maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Roscoe was arrested on June 30 and placed in the Northampton County Jail on a $7,000 secured bond.

Desmond Laquan Bryant, 19, of 153 Indian Trail, Arrowhead Mobile Home Park, Woodland, was charged with selling and delivering marijuana, possession with the intent to sell and deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bryant was arrested on July 6 and placed in the Northampton County Jail under a $3,000 bond.

Rashad Lamar Smallwood, 21, of 106 Hill Street, Winton, was charged with selling and delivering marijuana, possession with the intent to sell and deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Smallwood was arrested on July 6 and placed in the Northampton County Jail on a $3,000 bond.

Scotty Tann, 24, of 132 Lincoln Park, Rich Square, was charged with three counts of selling and delivering marijuana, one count of possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana and one count of conspiracy to sell and deliver marijuana.

Tann was arrested on July 6 and placed under a $6,000 secured bond.

Vincent commended his deputies for their work on netting the arrests. He also thanked the public for providing information to the sheriff’s office.

“If there is criminal activity going on in your neighborhood, call the Northampton County Sheriff’s Office,” he said. “We can make a difference when we work together.”

Vincent also had a message for those involved with illegal activity within the county.
