Joseph Aubrey Bazemore, 91 of Early Station Road, died Thursday, June 10, 2010 at his home.
A native of Bertie County, he was a lathe operator with Lea Lumber Company and a member of Askewville Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie W. Bazemore of the home; daughters, Judy B. White of Windsor and Betty B. Parrish of Edenton; three grandchildren; and six great -grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 13 at Askewville Baptist Church by the Rev. David Crumpler and the Rev. Bob Young. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 12 at Walker Funeral Home and other times at the home.
In lieu of flowers memorial can be made to Askewville Baptist Church, 110 E. Askewville Street, Windsor, NC 27983.
