Ivan Coulton, 19, of Ahoskie died Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Pitt Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
Born in Hertford County, he was a student at North Carolina A&T State University where he received a scholarship to play football. He was a member of Canaan Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Lavern and Gregory Harrell of Ahoskie and Jerry and Cathy Wynn of Norfolk, Va.; four brothers, Jerry Wynn III and Joshua Wynn, both of Rocky Mount, and Dominic Wynn and Gregory Harrell, both of Ahoskie; and five sisters, JaNell Harrell, Janequa Riddick of Ahoskie, and Quinneshia Hill, Iesha Wynn and Jasmine Wynn, all of Norfolk, Va.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 23 at Hertford County High School with Pastor Jarvis Parker officiating. Burial will take place in Newsome Grove Church Cemetery.
