Allen Tinkham

Allen Tevis Tinkham, 67, of Houston, Texas died Thursday, April 15, 2010 in a San Antonio, Texas hospital.
Born in Windsor, he was retired from the U.S. Air Force and among his early assignments was an overseas tour in Korea. He graduated from Auburn University and received a master’s from Louisiana Tech University. Tinkham also worked for the United States Civil Service and was a member of Jersey Village Baptist Church in Houston, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Earley Tinkham; two daughters, Alana Gogan of Orchard Park, NY and Alisa Koch of Houston, Texas; a sister, Phyllis Dilday of Kinston; a brother, Thomas Tinkham of Colerain; and two grandchildren.
A funeral was held on Monday, April 19 at Jersey Village Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Houston with full military honors.
