Lonnie Hathaway, 73, of Gatesville, died April 12, 2010 at Pitt Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
He was retired from J.V. Williams Construction Co. and a member of Walton’s Grove AME Church.
Survivors include two sons, Lonnie Wilson of Zebulon and Carlos Wilson of Brunswick, Ga.; a sister, Carrie Pretlow of Hobbsville; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 19 at Walton’s Grove AME Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Hunter’s Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling the arrangements.
