Beatrice Harmon Newbold, 86, formerly of Ahoskie, died April 13, 2010 in Greensboro Retirement Center, Greensboro.
Born in Bertie County, she was a homemaker and a member of Early’s Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Newbold Sheffield of Waverly, Va.; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 18 at the chapel of Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens in Ahoskie.
Friends may join the family in the funeral home prior to the service on Sunday.
