Mrs. Hazel Martin Ward, age 79, of Woodland died Friday, March 12, 2010.
Mrs. Ward was born May 8, 1930, the daughter of the late Claude W. Martin and Mabel Vick Martin. She was also predeceased by her husband Juels Ward and her daughter, Pamela Ward Vaughan.
She was a faithful member of Woodland Baptist Church and a member of the church choir. She retired from Woodland Manufacturing Company after 32 years of service.
Survivors include her sister, Lucille M. Hoggard of Woodland and her brother, E.S. Martin of Murfreesboro, also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held, Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 2:00 PM at
Woodland Baptist Church with the Rev. Marcus Pond and the Rev. Jimmy Jarrell officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Rich Square.
The family will receive friends at Massey Funeral Home in Jackson on Saturday from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. and other times at the home of her sister, Lucille M. Hoggard.
